SOLD Summer 2023 “Light” 24”x24”x2” Modern impressionist oil painting on cradeled wooden canvas.

Light, color action…. as always this painting had a life of its own. It started off with a walk. For years I only painted Plain Air with my wonderful teachers Gianni Cilfone and Mae Connors…. during the short summers we painted outside but when winter hit I would try to paint outdoors for as long as I could but during the brutal winter storms i would often sit in my minivan and paint with watercolors on watercolor board… This was painted last year in a little town in Michigan called Pullman, just a short distance from Saugatuck. One of my collectors invited myself and fellow artist and friend @GabiSilvaBavio to an incredible holiday at her home there to paint, make new friends, discover Saugatuck and chill… It is always a wonderful experience when you meet your collectors and here their story and what they see in your work.
